The American Advertising Awards is the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition, attracting over 40,000 entries every year in local AAF Club competitions. The mission of the American Advertising Awards is to recognize and reward the creative spirit of excellence in the art of advertising.
The New Mexico Advertising Awards is the Land of Enchantment’s annual competition. Entrants from across the state vie to win ADDY Awards and be recognized as the very best in our market. Winners move on to the District competition and then the National round.
Entering the New Mexico Advertising Awards supports our entire industry. The AAF and its local and district affiliates use the proceeds to enhance advertising through programs such as public service, internships, advocacy groups, advertising education, and consumer awareness.

Early bird: Friday, December 20, 2024
Right on time: Friday, January 18, 2025
Better late than never: Wednesday, January 22, 2025
Consult the category list to find where your work should compete. The list is maintained AAF National and updated yearly.
Work entered must have first appeared between January 1 and December 31, 2024, and be entered in the market where it was created.
Since entries will be judged virtually at the local level this year, there is no need to prepare and submit physical entries. That said, it will be even more important to upload great photos and videos, where allowable. For nearly all entries, you are able to upload five files/images and a video.

The entry deadline is determined each year by the American Advertising Awards committee. The deadlines for the 2025 competition are:

Each year the committee invites 3-4 industry professionals to participate as Judges. The committee strives to invite judges with a variety of backgrounds and from different markets to promote a well-rounded judging experience.
All work must first appear in the media between January 1 and December 31, 2024. All entries must have been produced through the normal course of business.
