The American Advertising Federation’s Silver Medal Award Program was established to recognize men and women who have made outstanding contributions to advertising and who have been active in furthering the industry’s standards, creative excellence and responsibility in areas of social concern. Annually, the American Advertising Federation – New Mexico bestows this honor upon outstanding members of the New Mexico advertising community. Take the time to nominate someone today.

How to nominate:
Submit in writing why your nominee is a good candidate for the Silver Medal Award by describing his or her qualifications in these four areas:

Contribution to His/Her Company – The recipient must have achieved success in one of the following areas of work: advertising agency, advertiser, and media or advertising service

Creative Ability—The recipient must have shown a consistent, high degree of original thinking in his/her field.

Contributions to the General Advancement of Advertising—The recipient must have worked to increase the stature and raise the standards of the advertising profession.

Contributions to the Community—The recipient should be someone who has been active in civic, religious, or other groups dedicated to human or social welfare.

How to format the nomination: The nomination must be submitted in writing. It cannot be more than ten (10) typewritten pages, double-spaced, with one inch margins. Supplement materials, such as a DVD video (no longer than four (4) minutes, or other examples pertinent to one or more of qualifications may be submitted, but are not required.

The Silver Medal will be awarded at the ADDY Awards Saturday, March 3, 2012.
